Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
A disorder of intrusive, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) performed to reduce anxiety. Associated with serotonergic and glutamatergic dysregulation in cortico-striato-thalamo-cortical circuits (distinct from OCPD).
