LSD
LSD is a classic serotonergic (5-HT2A) psychedelic producing profound perceptual and cognitive changes. It is not considered addictive and has low physiological toxicity, and controlled research is being revived for anxiety and depression, though clinical evidence remains early. Risks include acutely distressing experiences, dangerous behavior while intoxicated, and rare persistent perceptual changes (HPPD).
