Citicoline (CDP-Choline)
Citicoline (CDP-choline) supplies choline and supports membrane synthesis and dopaminergic signaling. There is some evidence for benefit in vascular cognitive impairment and recovery after stroke, and mixed signals for age-related memory complaints, but cognitive enhancement in healthy adults is not well supported. It is generally well tolerated.
Too little may be associated with
Less cholinergic support.
Too much may be associated with
Generally safe; mild GI upset or headache.
