Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) is a traditional herbal sedative and anxiolytic. A small number of trials suggest modest benefit for anxiety and mild sleep problems, but the evidence is limited and low quality. It is generally well tolerated and sometimes combined with other calming herbs.
